Operational assistants also need to know everything that happens in the office and keep track of office activities through comprehensive records. They may also be responsible for reporting the content of the records if a situation arises that requires such information.

These professionals work closely with senior management to coordinate strategies and manage employee efficiency. Since the operations assistant has a good overview of the general business of the company, she can easily convey the information to the executives.
