Duties and responsibilities of the management consultant

Management consultants, also known as management analysts, analyze and evaluate the daily operations and duties of employees within various companies to find ways to improve the profitability and efficiency of the company. Consulting firms and large corporations hire full-time time management consultants, but management consultants can also work on their own as independent contractors. Management consultants work primarily in office environments, often as temporary visitors to companies that have hired their services, but they can also act as internal consultants for large companies. Management consultants often visit companies to perform their duties and sometimes travel for extended periods.
